What does unrestricted coding mean here?

Cheat development, binary reverse engineering and program cracking are part of Jac Code’s core coding focus. Use JacCoder 5.5 to discuss those projects, work on your files and drive the development tools available in your workspace.

What do I need to get started?

A 64-bit PC running Windows 10 or newer, an internet connection and a Jac Code account. Download the EXE installer, install the app and sign in or create your account inside it. No terminal or personal API key is required.

What can Jac Code help me do?

Build cheats, reverse binaries and crack programs, alongside ordinary application development. Jac Code can read and explain code, search project files, create and edit files, run commands, investigate errors and help write and run tests. Independent work can be delegated to subagents using the same account allowance.

Which plan should I choose for agentic coding?

Plus is designed for unrestricted questions and lighter conversation-led work. Its usage allowance is not enough for agentic coding. Pro 5x is the recommended step up: a massive jump in usage for multi-step coding work, with no five-hour limit.

How do usage allowances work?

Input, generated output, reasoning and subagent work count toward your account usage. The app shows remaining percentages and relative reset times. Free and Plus use five-hour and weekly windows. Pro 5x and Pro 20x use a weekly window with no separate five-hour window.

When weekly usage runs out on Free or Plus, displayed five-hour availability also becomes zero. Time-limited paid plans return to Free at expiry. Any available banked reset credits can be redeemed in the app and may expire.

Are my code and conversations private or offline?

Conversations and working files are stored locally. Relevant content is sent to Jac Code’s authenticated AI service when it is needed to process a request.

Passwords are not saved locally. Windows-protected, revocable session credentials let you stay signed in. Third-party MCP tools run with the relevant local user permissions.

Can I bring files and connect my tools?

Yes. Use project files and supported images, PDFs and Office documents as context. Documented limits include 8 MiB per file, PDFs up to four pages and up to ten files per message, subject to combined preparation limits. Up to four prepared images can enter model context.

Local and remote MCP servers can provide tools, resources, resource templates and prompts. Connections are managed in Settings. Agent-proposed MCP installations require explicit confirmation; external runtimes may need separate setup. Sampling and elicitation are not supported.

How do updates and saved work behave?

The app downloads, verifies and installs updates with visible progress. Signed release information and file hashes authenticate updates. Managed app files are replaced while chats, projects, settings, attachments and sign-in data are preserved.

Upgrade a custom-folder install in that same folder. Conversation backups are separate from working-file backups. Per-file undo is available where a suitable checkpoint exists.

How do I purchase a paid plan?

Choose a paid plan above to open its Sellhub purchase page. Plus is $5 USD per month, Pro 5x is $20 USD per month and Pro 20x is $80 USD per month.

A closer look.

A focused Windows workspace

Jac Code combines coding conversations, local files and development tools in one desktop application. Start a projectless chat to create a dedicated workspace automatically, or open an existing project folder. Optional previews appear when suitable content is available.

Conversations that stay organised

Saved history, recent chats, search, rename, archive and restore, drafts, project-associated chats and collapsible projects keep work accessible. Open a chat’s working folder when needed. A local queue supports follow-up work.

Control over actions

Read only permits inspection without edits or command execution. Ask first requires permission for applicable changes and commands. Full access lets the assistant work directly in your project workspace.

Visible work, reviewable results

Expandable activity gathers updates, steps and tool calls. It collapses after completion; questions and permission requests remain visible when action is needed. The app includes source viewing, change review, task reports, activity timelines, setup inspection and explicit start/build/test command profiles. Protected per-file undo needs a suitable checkpoint.

Answer text streams into the conversation. Private reasoning is not progressively displayed. Activity states include Thinking, Working, Responding, Reconnecting and Waiting for an available slot. Send becomes Stop during a running task; received answer text is retained if a later interruption occurs.

Supported attachments

Supported text/code, PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, PDF, DOCX, XLSX and PPTX inputs can be prepared. GIFs use the first frame. Images are resized and re-encoded locally with metadata stripped. PDF pages can be interpreted visually; Office documents supply relevant text without executing macros or embedded programs.

Limits: up to 8 MiB per file; PDFs up to four pages; up to ten files per message within combined preparation limits; up to four prepared images in model context.

Installation and maintenance

Use the Windows EXE installer without a terminal. Desktop and Start menu shortcuts are supported. The optional jac command opens the same graphical app. Launch at Windows sign-in can be disabled in Settings. Automatic updates verify signed release information and file hashes, preserve user data and remove recorded obsolete app versions.

More ways to make it yours

Ember, Charcoal, Warm paper and Follow Windows appearance options; integrated Settings and Account screens; a replayable tutorial; attachment references; local conversation backup tools; and opt-in support reports. Projects remain usable without a web preview. Conversation backups do not back up all project working files.

Accounts and availability

Sign in or register inside Jac Code with email and password. Ordinary new accounts currently do not require manual owner approval. Account and network protections limit repeated login attempts and account creation.

Jac Code is built on the open-source OpenCode project.

Your work.
Clear boundaries.

Jac Code stores conversations and working files locally. Relevant content is sent to its authenticated AI service when required to process a request.

You do not supply an inference API key. Passwords are not stored locally; Windows-protected, revocable session credentials support persistent sign-in. Usage and account access are enforced by the service.

Private service instructions and upstream credentials are not distributed as app configuration. Running out of usage or a service request failing does not delete your projects or uninstall the application.
